Home Theatre Speaker Compatability

Post by Ken Veal »

Not sure if I am asking this in the correct place but I cant think of anywhere else to go.
I am in the process of building a home theatre system.I have purchased 5 Cambridge Audio Minx Min 10 speakers and a X200 sub woofer for a 5.1 set up.I have decided to upgrade to a 7.1 set up and so want to get another Min 10 speaker and a Min 20 to act as the centre speaker. These are all 8 ohms, min10 is 15-50 W. recommended and the Min 20 I is 15-75W.
My intention to is buy a Pioneer AV Reciever VSX-921. I quote from the spec.
“Power Output
Maximum power output per channel - RMS into 8 ohms
150 x 7 (6 ohms) Output Power per Channel 150W
Impedance at Output Level 6Ω Number of Channels 7
Condition 1kHz, 1% THD, 6Ω “
Will the speakers be compatable with this amp ?
If this question is out of order can any one suggest where I can get an answer please.....................Ken
