Hi All,
I'm noticing a possible problem with Paint Shop Pro X4. When I look at .jpgs and tiffs with Canon's software and also with Microsoft Paint, they both render the images identical to each other in terms of contrast/color... however when I view these very same images in PSP X4, they appear lighter and also much noisier.
Is anyone else noticing this issue? I am using an uncalibrated monitor at the moment so PSP should be using the same color profile as the other programs. So why is it displaying these items differently?

Re: PSP Is Not Displaying Jpg & Tiff Files Accurately
Could be that the "Color Working Space" is set different between the Canon software and PSP. I use DPP with PaintShop Pro, and I had to make sure that the settings were the same (currently both are set to sRGB, which is was PSP defaults to). The Color Management menu is found under the File menu. PSP does have a monitor calibration wizard that will help you create a monitor profile. I don't use it, as I have a calibrator...but I assume that once you create the profile you can apply it to the Canon software so that they are using the same profile.
