Cannot find Mercalli and BorisGraffiti in VSP X4 Ultimate

I know similar questions have been asked elsewhere but, so far, I have not been successfull with any of the suggested solutions. My problem is that I cannot access the proDADMercalli or Boris Graffiti features in VSP X4 Ultimate. I uninstalled a previous version of VSP X4 before installing VSP X4 Ultimate and made sure the files proDADMercalli20Corel|4.vft and the Boris Graffiti.vft files were in the appropriate folder for Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 in my 64 bit W7 system. Just to make sure, I followed the Corel instructions and re-installed the files in the folder in question to ensure that they had not been corrupted. I still cannot find the features in the FX menu. Any suggestion to help me resolve this problem would be appreciated.

Does nothing appear when you select 'All' under FX? In my set-up, only Mercalli shows as a separate category in the FX drop down menu. It could be that in your set-up neither have a separate category in the menu, but are to be found (as B for Boris and M for Mercalli) in the All menu.

Neither function appears in the drop-down menu nor in the icon section in the right-hand pane when "all" is selected.

Same happened to me. It worked for me after I uninstalled my previous version of X4, and then installing X4 Ultimate worked as expected with all the new bonus stuff appearing... Al

PROBLEM SOLVED. Although I had done two uninstalls - one through the Win7 Control Pannel and one with the VS4 Ultimate installation DVD - that had not fixed my problem. I then found the "VS_Cleanup.exe" file somewhere on the Corel web site. I uninstalled VS4 using that software and then re-installed VS4 Ultimate and all features are now available. It would appear that the Corel uninstall software does a more thorough job of cleaning most, if not all, the old files from the computer. Somehow, this allowed the new features from "Ultimate" to be availlable in FX. ProDAD Mercalli is available both in the drop down menu and in the "All" section of FX. Boris Graffiti is only available in the "All" section of FX.
