printing horizontal lines on 8x10 photos?

I run XP with PSPX3. For some reason my HP Photosmart Premium Fax C410C printer makes fine, light-colored lines, spaced 7/16" apart horizontally on landscape photos. 4x6" photos are fine, not horizontal lines. This problem started months ago and is an issue now because of my new camwera. Any suggestions?

Does this problem only occur with PSP or is this constant? If it's only from PSP I'd want to see a sample of the file printed in question. If it's not just PSP related I'd take a look at your printers software settings. If that all looks to be ok maybe take a look at your USB cables, settings, unplug anything that you're not using at the moment? I'd start with the printer software first though.
