Hi all.
I have the trial version of Video studio pro X4 for evaluation and it seems to do all I need except for a couple of points I cannot get.
Transisions. I like to use the page turn transision in my videos and can see how it can be edited to left or right turn and colour change and duration.
Is there a way to save this edited transision so I can use it without editing it every time? If I right click on the transision in the timeline a copy option is displayed but it is greyed out.
Question 2 and i am sure this is a bit basic, how do I add basic text to the video without the flashing and zooming effects?
Many thanks for any replies.

hello and welcome
It does not appear to be possible to save a customised copy of that transition - maybe the programmers thought that as it was so easy to change it was not worth including that facility.
To put "ordinary" text on your video - click on the single letter 'T' on the right side of the preview screen and the title panel will open and in the preview window you should see the words "Double Click Here to add a Title" - as instructed double click in the preview window - then start typing - the 'options' panel will provide options to change font, change size and colour etc. so you can customise the text. to move the text about , click in the preview screen away from the text and yellow squares will appear around the text box - you can drag yellow boxes to change size or click and drag the whole box to any position. The text will be inserted in the title timeline starting from the position of the timeline cursor.

Re: New user ,a couple of questions.
Thank you for your reply. I understand the text function now.
Its a pity the customised transitions can't be saved. Do you know why the copy button is greyed out when the transitions on the timeline is right clicked? If it could be copied and pasted that would be a big help. Could it be that it is greyed out in the trial version only?
