Just bought/DL'd X4 - do I need to DL SP1?

Hi all! Long-time PSP user (though no doubt as a reporter I use far fewer features than many of you - resize and one-step fix is usually all I do, minor retouching
Anyway, so I finally had the $ to do an upgrade, right from X2 to X4. Went without a hitch (knock on wood), thought I'd return to the forums as I do not too often to see what's up - which is where I learned of SP1.
So... my version is 14.0.0.345. Should I download/install SP1? I click 'check for updates' and it does the circle thing, then ... nothing. Will it auto-update, or do I already have it?

With SP1, it will show as 14.1.0.5.

Whew, SP1 installed! And now, when I check for updates, it knows to say there are none at this time.

Was wondering though - got into this unnerving stuff (each time clicking 'Retry' didn't bring a repeat):

At about 45 percent install: Error1310. Error writing to file c:\Config.Msi\2b-ce15.rbf.Verify that youhave access to that directory.
At about 50 pct., same but 2b0d35d.rbf
At 54 pct: 2b0da23.rbf
Then: 2b0db2a.rbf

But all's well... that end's well?;-)

i don't know why they haven't made a combined installer. pretty sloppy if you ask me.

You may want to right-click on the installer of SP1 and select RUN AS ADMIN or use a username that has login right.
