DVD-video Menu creation align text

I have MF7 pro and until recently I could align text in my DVD-video menus by right clicking on the text box and choosing the align option. This has suddenly stopped working. It appears in the list when I right-click on the text, but it is greyed-out.
I have tried doing a repair on the software installation but this does not cure the problem.
