PSP X4 on sale for $39

Post by bobm185 »

PSP X4 is on sale for $39 this coming week 11/11 to 11/17. It's not Corel but a national office products store with on-line access. (I thought I saw somewhere not to mention store names in the forum.) It bugs me because I've seen this before. Corel started at $79, lowered to $59. I complained to them about that because I bought mine as a download for $79. They did give me a $20 refund, which I appreciate, but I still don't have the disk and physical guide book.

Now xxxx is selling the boxed version for $39! Some years ago I bought PSP for $19. It was on sale at a chain store for $39 and I had a store coupon for $20.

My point with this rant is next time I get PSP I'll wait a few months - especially since Corel still hasn't fixed many of the problems in PSP even with SP1 (e.g., 72ppi.)

I'll just have to overcome my obsession to have the latest as soon as it's available!

Are you sure about those dates? I mean '11/11 to 11/17' surely means 11 November to 17 November, doesn't it? Yet we are in December. Are you sure you are not looking at an older ad?

Ken - thanks for the catch. My bad - as the kids say. The sale is December 11 to 17. You can delete the store name if necessary - it's Staples. It's advertized in their weekly add on their website.

I think PSPX4 was sold for $39.00 because the Christamas was coming but here in the Philippines during that time, the price was still equivalent to $70.00 and that was huge for us. Lucky for your place because everyone can afford during that Christmas season...
