Does MSP7 support 25P PAL? ...

Hi. I'm still quite new to this and would appreciate some advice here. I'm using a Canon XL2E which records in 16:9 25P PAL. As i've just seen the NTSC DV 24P option added in the latest MSP upgrade will I need a 25P option or can I use the standard DV 16:9 PAL setting for editing clips (which seems to work OK). Am I missing something? Can I write back to a tape in 25P from Video Editor?

As I say, i'm new to this. Thanks.

Yes, you can output 25P.
Simply configure your output options to be set for "Full Frame" rather than Lower Field or Upper Field so that transition, effects & titles will be rendered 25P rather than interlaced.
