Anyone know how to convert or save an animated html file into a video format such as avi or mpeg for video editing?

Most Html Editors are OLE compliant, so you should be able to highlight the animation and drag and drop it into the proper Graphic container program.
Another method is to cut and paste, from application to application, although using this method the results are not guaranteed. The whole animation might wind up in one frame.
