How do you fade to white or fade through white?

How do you fade to white or fade through white?
I see all kinds of effects/transitions for fade to/through black, but not white. What am I missing? (I'm sure there's some quick way to select a color or something, but I can't find it.)

drag a white colour block from the 'Color' library down on the end of your video - set duration you want - drag the 'Crossfade' transition down over the video/white join - set duration. If you want to fade through white then just insert your continuing video after the white block and put a second crossfade across the join. remember times are important - you cannot have a transition longer than the video/block it is covering - so two 3 second cross fades require 6 seconds of white and so on.
The color library is opened by clicking on the little 'flower' icon down the right of the preview screen - then using the drop down at the top of the library panel to select color.
by that method you can of course fade to any colour at all - I often use a black block and crossfade at the end of my video since I can then fade to black and have a black 'tail' of a few seconds before final exit.

I'm sure it was just a typo, but the little flower icon is down the LEFT side of the preview screen... And if you are using X4, then clicking on that flower icon will bring up a number of color panels. Just drag and drop the white panel on the timeline wherever -- and how many times -- you want.

That's odd Ken - I use the default layout and my little flower icon is to the RIGHT of the preview screen - that is on the left of the library pane.
