I want to make a small gif of a car move from the lower right of the screen then moving to the left and then up the left side to the top of the screen and finally back to the lower right portion of the screen.
I may have bought Cool3d PS a little to quick (thinking I could do this along with the other things I learned while test driving the product).
Anyway, how hard is it to do this path for a gif car?
Thanks
Bob
How to make a gif car move

Hmmm
Well, as I am a newbie to Cool3d and l really like it, not quite sure what you mean. For instance you say to place it on an object. What kind of an object? If I import a gif file (the picture of the car), is that not an object that I can move.
More importantly, it is difficult to visulize the final movement. For example, imagine a small car at the bottom right of your web site screen, moving to the left (along the bottom), then up the left side, across (moving to the right now) and finally down the right side. In other words around the 4 borders of your web page.
I dont see any easy way to do this but I hope I am wrong. If I set up a new work space what size do I make it so that when I create the animation in Cool3d and export it as a swf file to the web building program, it will move the car like I want it to (around the 4 sides)?
I appreciate your help to me (and I am sure others apprecaite your helping them also).

grr, just ate my post, so here it is again...
Cool3D is a 3D animation program so it can't handle a flat image like a gif except as a background or a texture. So there's two ways you can do what you need to do.
1) Create a tile and load the gif on as a texture. You now have a "picture of a car" that you can slide around. Note: This only works for Production Studio
2) Go to "Insert Graphics" and then "Convert to Vector" and load up your gif. It will give you options to convert it into vector lines. Try to get the node count as low as possible without losing the basic shape of the car. The higher the node count the harder it is to make. Once you're finished it will create the object as a raised 3D image. This you can do in either.
Hope that helps.
