Photo & Video X4 vs. Digital Studio

Post by Shadow74 »

Can someone please tell me the difference between Photo & Video X4 Ultimate Bundle and Digital Studio 2010? The only difference I see is that Digital Studio only supports Windows 7, all else seems to be identical.

Digital Studio 2010 is IMHO a complete and total waste of time. It was Corel's attempt to dumb down just about everything to do with photo and video editing. The video authoring side of things was so disastrous when they used that module with Video Studio X3 that they had to issue a special version of Movie Factory 7 to correct the outcry by users.

So my advice is to completely and utterly put Digital Studio out of your mind, even if they are giving it away free.

OK, I can accept your opinion on Digital Studio. My original question of what is the difference between the two products remains.

Photo & Video X4 Ultimate Bundle consists of the full ultimate version of PaintShop Pro X4 and VideoStudio Pro X4 which are both advance editing software, photos and videos respectively.

While Digital Studio 2010 is a photo editing, movie making, DVD burning and converting in one. Only has the basic features unlike Photo & Video X4 Ultimate Bundle.

if you have not install the trial of 3 programs, I suggest that you download and use the trial of PaintShop Pro X4, VideoStudio Pro X4 and Digital Studio 2010.
