VSP X4 Ultimate create mirror image of clip

Post by mlswartz »

I was surprised at not finding any questions about this on the forum. Is their a way to create a mirror image of a video clip?

I am running Videostudio Pro X4 Ultimate 14.2.0.23 (Ultimate)

Thank you

Now that I have the NewBlueFX Video Essentials IV collection, I can use the "Reflection" filter.

But you can do it using two video tracks and the "Flip" filter on the overlay track. To start, distort the clip on the main video track. You turn on the distort option for the main video track on the Attribute options panel. After distorting the clip, copy the clip and drag it to the overlay track. Apply the "Flip" filter (vertical or horizontal or both). In the preview window in the edit workspace, drag the image around to where you want the reflection.
