I am sure that this has been answered before but I did a search "transferring VideoStudio Pro X4 to another PC" and found nothing.
I am replacing my PC that VS X4 is installed with another PC and I would like to know how to deactivate VS on this PC and re-install it to another one. Please your help would be appreciated.

First: Go to"Library Mgr." and export your settings-saves a lot of work if you have things setup a certain way.
Second: Remove from old computer as usual-"Add/Remove Programs," etc.
Third: Install on new computer and import your settings.
Enjoy!

I have never actually 'deactivated' a version on one computer before installing on another - in fact this last time my PC crashed and I was unable to access any programmes and there were at least 3 versions of VideoStudio on that - I just installed VS X4 on the new PC , put in the serial number and away I went.

Does Corel want you to have the program on two computers? Just CYA.

@stelch if you're keeping the old PC, then you do not need to uninstall it, just export your libraries from the old PC, so that you can transfer them to the new PC once you installed the program.
Here's a quick way to export and import your library from a VS X4 to another. http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... dio-Pro-X4
