Popup ad disobeys "Do not show again" checkbox

It's pretty darn annoying when I start up PSPP and it gives me a damn commercial, and the "do not show this message again" checkbox is completely ignored.

It may be tied to restarting your computer. Don't restart your PC and no ad, restart your PC and there's an ad the next time.

You can also try deleting the messages folder located at "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Corel" then disable the Message preferences from the Corel Guide.
