I became so frustrated with VSPX4 a few days ago because the previous day I had added my own music folders, images and video.... they have all gone. All I have is the Samples.
What I would like to know is, why would the all disappear? Thanks.

Re: Adding Folders VSPX4
Where and how did you make the folders? Assume you have done a full Windows search? Otherwise I can't imagine how or why they would just up and disappear since there have been no changes to X4.... or had you just applied SP1? (Not that that should have made any difference either...)

Hi Ken
Thanks for replying.
I am speaking of creating the folders within the programme. I thought when making these they would save, apparently not.
Yes, I did install SP1 but it should remember one's settings.

Re: Adding Folders VSPX4
Hopefully someone else might have an idea... I too created such folders (which I named Video, Music and Images) when I first installed X4 (and updated with SP1). And they continue to be available.
It sounds a little like the problem some -- but only a few -- users have with disappearing filters. The trick there was to name a specific .ini file as OLD, and VS would then rebuild it with the filters returned. But I suspect that won't work with this since they are user-created folders.

The folders I have on my VS X4 are there as well and the only thing that can delete the folder without using VS X4 is when you delete the "14.0" folder located at C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\

Re: Adding Folders VSPX4
Thanks Ken and Abiel.
Abiel, the only time any files are deleted from the ...........\appdata\roaming\ulead\videostudio x4 is if the program was uninstalled as I would not go in to that area and manually delete anything. My folders disappeared without trace all by their selves!
Later I uninstalled/reinstalled then added SP1. I will attempt again to add folders and see if they remain.
