No Audio with ULead video studio

I can't seem to get my audio on my home videos to transfer with the video Help PLEASE!!!!!!!

No where near enough information - your reference to Ulead VideoStudio suggests a very old version and it appears you are trying to run it on Windows 7 - could be your version is not compatible with Win 7.

As a minimum please give us the version of your VideoStudio and the properties of the videos you are trying to work with.

Or syoung is using Video Studio 10 SE with a fake version of the EZcap/EasyCap device...

I dont know exactly what I have purchased it on Ebay and it did come with an easyCap all it says is ULead video studio SE I am usually pretty good at figuring things out have no idea what the video is either just a regular VHS

As I suggested above - if it says Ulead then it is not compatible with Windows 7 - it was not designed to work on Windows 7 - there is no patch to make it work on Windows 7 - you need to buy a Corel version of VideoStudio.

Hi

If you have managed to transfer the video to the pc then you are doing well.
If the audio is the only problem, did you select USB Audio as the input/capture option.

Otherwise try connecting the audio cables directly to the Line-In on pc, basically bypassing the easycap device.

I would go with BrianCee's response, since Ulead VS 10 SE is not compatible with windows 7. You may want to try and use the VS X4 trial version and see if it will work on your EZcap/EasyCap device.

After reading this thread a few days ago - and coincidentally finding some VHS tapes that we thought had gone to the dump two years ago - I read the EZ Cap reviews on Amazon. Seems that there are some audio codec? issues with the "real" device as well, and there was a recommended solution mixed in with the reviews and comments. It might be worth taking a look.
