I would like to know if anyone can tell me what Corel Paint Shop Pro 9 version 9.02 is. I found it lost in my collection of old CD's. I loaded it up out of curiosity and it looks like a really powerful program for editing photos. In fact, it seems to be on a par with Adobe's Photo Shop CS3 that I use all the time. If anyone knows what this is, can you enlighten me? Another odd thing is that the disk I found it on is a CD that's only 3" in diameter, not 5" as most are. I'm really curious.

I wouldn't go so far as to saying its on par with Photoshop CS3 but it is a powerful photo and graphics editing program. It has features for paint, vectors, and photo editing. I personally prefer the layout and some of the tool design to that of Photoshop but when I need the power I go back to Photoshop. Which is rare.
It's also, I think, the last version the original company, Jasc, made before Corel got it. Now we're all the way up to version 14. Though my copy of PSP 9 was on a standard CD.
