Project Creator

Post by xplorer751 »

I have a lot of photos that I want to turn into a multi-media slide show. The Corel Help refers to a Project Creator that is part of the product. How do I access? This is a registered product. Also, I have Video Studio. What is the difference? Do you have a recommendation of which product to use. I am not a professional user, so simple, quick, with basic features is what I am looking for. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.

To find Project Creator go to Start -> All Programs -> Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 and click on that folder. Project Creator should be in there - it is on mine.

With that being said, I personally don't care for Project Creator but it might suit your needs. I think Video Studio is the better option but your best bet is to try each and determine which gives you the results you are looking for. Good luck. :)

Project creator is severely limited. If you want more than one type of transition from one slide to another too bad. If you want more than one sound track too bad (it's an option but it doesn't work for me no matter what the settings). The program doesn't work like it's supposed too. Nobody knows where any of the "projects" that are printed and need to be paid for goes, so who knows where your bank info ends up. I'd say with as many headaches that project creator gives you, use Video Studio even if you have to learn how to use it. For a novice or non-power user it would be far easier. An alternative is Windows Live Movie Maker, but I'd give Video Studio a shot first.

I tried this, but was not fully satistied.

I like - DVD slideshow+video creator from Photodex - http://www.addictivetips.com/
there are 3 versions.

Some good and even free software can be found - http://www.addictivetips.com/
