X4 Ultimate license agreement

Post by Heesenproductions »

I bought the Ultimate version and found to my shock that the license agreement is 1 per household  , where the X4 Pro's license is "1 copy per single computer in use".
The license agreement actually states that in the case of computer failure, the user has to proof that the software is not in use anymore on that specific computer before Corel will allow the software to be activated on another computer.
Now what about my other computer as well as my laptop? The laptop is used when away and I toggle between 2 computers, because sometimes the extra computer is busy with downloads, or someone is doing internet. Do I really have to purchase 2 extra licenses for this convenience? And this while X4 Pro was installed on all the computers in the household! Anybody knows why Corel changed the license agreement of VideoStudio?

No need for a new license to install and use in a laptop. You are not supposed to use it in the laptop at the same time you or someone else is using in the desktop... Al

Yeah, I know it. Never used the software simultaneously anyway. But, no need for another license... sorry, I don't think I am with you now.
