Which "Video Standard" do I choose?

Post by auntiedidi1973 »

I am installing my Video Studio Pro x4 on my new computer. I use Windows 7, it is a 32 bit I think, and 4 meg ram. The screen gives me an option that says "select the video standard you are using."

I have no idea what that means, and the options are NTSC or PAL/SCEM.

Can someone help me figure out which one to choose? Thanks!

You choose the standard which matches the television standard used in your country - places like the USA use NTSC - the UK and France use PAL/Secam - different countries use different standards - you tell us your home country and we'll tell you what to set.

Hi

During Installation…….
When you are given the option to choose Pal or NTSC there is also another option immediately below, here you can choose your country, then the program will install using the correct TV standard.
The templates used in Video Studio will use the correct settings.

After Installation……..
Open Video Studio
Add a clip to the timelines, any from the library
Share- Create Video File – DVD will display a list showing either Pal or NTSC

Which one do you see?
And as Brian asks where do you live?
