Corel X3 has stopped opening!

Post by TomUK »

I have been happily using Corel Draw X3 for five years without problems. Computer runs on XP (sp3). Today I clicked to open the programme and the 'Loading Application' window flashed up briefly and then closed within a couple of seconds. The only things I've done since last using X3 is a full scan using AVG software which reported no threats. Anybody got any solutions or theories?

Thanks Brian

I have already tried various sites including coreldraw.com/forums, but can find no answers specific to my problem.
I have tried some of the suggestions elsewhere for smilar problems like holding down F8 when starting programme and I have even re-installed X3 from disc to no avail. I guess I will have to keep searching. I came on here vecause it's headed 'Corel User to User Web Board'. Now realise that in smaller letters it says Digital Media Products - sorry!
