Using HDR in PSPP X4

Post by KenBob2 »

A simple question: How do I convert an HDR file into a tiff file. I see no opportunity to save as a different type of file from one of the 6 default styles. Also how do you print one of the defaults, there seems to be no right clicks in the HDR adjustments panel.

Thanks :?:

I don't use PSPx4's HDR program. I use Photomatix as I think it gives far better results. (HDR and RAW are weak features of PSP IMHO).

Anyway here's what I know about HDR in PSPx4.

When you have finished with your HDR work click the 'Save and Close' button on the lower left. It will/should ask you where you want to save the file. Then, once saved, go to the 'Edit' tab in PSPx4 and open up the file. From there you can do a 'normal' save in whatever format you desire.

I hope this helps.
Someone else will come and tell us a simpler way!!!

Or you could click on the "Edit" button which is right above the save and close instead, Then you can save as a .tiff

brucet & kaymann,

Thanks for your help. I get it now; I was not completely processing the raw .hdr file to get to the point of the save & close

Cheers
