VS9 Upgrade Problem

I just bought VS9 Upgrade from Element5 (download). When the program searches for installed programs, I get a program message - just when the logo appears - that there are no ULead programs installed on my machine.

I have a working and registered VS7 version in

C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\VideosStudio 7

Now how's that???

I reported this to Ulead Technical Support, but so far, no word from them (which is nothing unusual as I gather from this Forum).

Have I thrown 60 bucks throug the window or can any of you guys have some idea?
