X4 problem with the organizer page

When I have downloaded the program everything seems to work fine except the organizer page, which is important.
The preview image toggle button shows only thumbnails at the bottom but in the preview window stays grey or white..changes.
in the thumbnail screen i get two sets of thumbnails in two areas of the page. Talk about screwy.
Did the on line texting with tech services and they couldn't help me. What to do now??

That does sound screwy, though from memory you are the first user to mention this. First off I suggest you reset the workspace: File > Preferences > Reset Preferences, then tick the box beside Reset Workspace.

Thanks Ken, I did just that one more time to see if I didn't check the right box.
Went back to the organize page and I still have my thumbnails at the bottom with an orange selection box around the
first pic then a pure white preview screen and no image. I have the videostudio 4 program ..no problems and
X3 paintshop .... no problem, but upgrading ( in light of this problem very strange idea) to X4 I think
a very bad bug ?? Do I ask for my money back or how do I fix this???

have you found an answer to this problem as I'm having the same Win 7 64bit (just changeded the desktop res to 16bit and they appear go back to 32bit res not there)
