wmv import plays but can't been seen - URGENT

HELP!!!!

Only got a couple of hours to put this thing together so anyone online that can be of assistance, please SHOUT LOUD.

I've imported a wmw clip into the timeline which plays but doesn't display in the screen.

Any suggestions?

First of all, you need to right click on the clip in the timeline and copy ALL its properties here. Then we will have a better idea of what we are dealing with.

Does it play properly in Windows Media Player?

Hi

What version of Windows Media Player are you using please update to the latest version.

There use to be a Windows Media Encoder that added wmv codecs to the pc, I believe it is now called Microsoft Expressions Encoder. This may also add the required codecs.

Hi Ken

Thanks for your persistence in helping me out.

I believe we have resolved the issue here. Uleads certainly appears not to like working with imported .wmv files. We're working with .mpg now which it's very happy with and at the moment is working perfectly and allowing us to do what we need to do.
