Question about icon size in X4

In previous versions through customize options there was the option to tick for large icons.
It has beeen left out of X4 or is it there and I can't find it..
That option was very good for big screens..
Do they intend to bring it back in the update along with the coloured icons..
Does anyone know...I do hope so..Cheers

They are technically already large icons. In the service pack you'll get the option to turn on small icons.

The icons in X4 were only slightly smaller than the large icons in previous versions. But bigger than the normal small icons. So instead of making larger icons they make them smaller icons for those of us who liked the smaller icons compared to the larger ones.

The small icons work for me and I don't mind the standard size that comes with X4, but I can certainly appreciate that others would want the larger icons. I know from different forums that I participate in that there is a large number of seniors who are hobbyists and also those with less than perfect vision, not to mention monitors are getting larger and larger. Options are good.

Well Levi you must have perfect eyesight and not aging eyes..
plus not a wide screen..

Or I've actually taken out the icons and measured. My screen and eye-sight has nothing to do with the size PSP uses compared to the settings (large/small).

And if you changed the resolution to a smaller resolution you'll use more physical pixels to represent individual graphic pixels. Since I use my 32" tv across the room as my monitor for my desktop I have to keep the resolution low to see it from the couch.

Screen resolution makes very little difference unless you want to use half your screen
and not have a full picture..

EDITED AGAIN: Ignore this. It's a pointless discussion because of the difference in our personal perceptions on how far one has to adjust screen resolutions. I do apologize for wasting time and space like that.
