Does anyone know why Paint Shop Pro x4 will NOT read jpg files directly from the Camera??
The directory tree will show the camera/the SD card/the directories for the pictures ... but No jpg pictures.
I can read and copy them directly from windows and Paint Shop will recognize and read the copied files.
Not a big issue, just a nuisance. It would be nice to pick the pictures I want, directly from the camera.

You may want to update your direct X, also have you installed the software that came with your camera?

Re: Can't read Nikon P500
Thanks for asking ...
Nikon software and drivers are installed.
I am running DirectX 10 ... so that should not be a problem, 11 just came out not too long ago, so I haven't installed it yet.
Any other ideas

Re: Can't read Nikon P500
Seems like things go backwards instead of forward .. X3 would copy and move, X4 does not,.
How about the greatest HD tv's .... read the specs, none of them will give you the closed caption. Closed caption now has to come from the provider. It has to be set up on the cable box, and sent to the TV as though it is part of the picture. Let's move forward!
Thanks for the comment though. Guess I'll just have to use other software to copy the images (Windows! Really?)

Re: Can't read Nikon P500
Well the provider does provide the CC info, but there is no standard for it's reception and display as yet. But this is somewhat disheartening to google this issue and find it is true. As you say, a step backwards.Closed caption now has to come from the provider. It has to be set up on the cable box, and sent to the TV as though it is part of the picture.
