X3 versus X4

Post by Filly »

Well I have gone back to X3 now I have everything working..
Like it much better than X4..prefer the right-click on the layer pallete more option..
and to change from Full Editor to Organizer visaversa you don't lose your work..
The 2 options are much better then Manage Adjust Edit..
Come on Corel are you listening..
Cheers

X4 is better and feels snappier. It also takes up less space on you hard-disk and takes better advantage on Win7. Unfortunately it is ridden with bugs but it was almost the same for X3. Remember X3 has 5 patches/SPs and still has some minor bugs.

I am pretty sure X4 will become a great program once it gets patched.

I agree it needs a lot of patches .
But I have X3 working beautifully..
There are so many features missing in X4..
they should re do it..Cheers

What are you missing Filly? It could be it's still there and they just moved it.

Kathy just as discussed before the opacity layer in X3 you can see the digits..
I prefer the Thumbnail Organizer in X3 never haved like it on the bottom..
and to change workspaces much better..don't lose your work..
X3 has better layouts and now with all the plugins working..
I prefer it..still can't get the calendar script working in X3 can in X4..
All X3 needed was to have all the plugins working..
Cheers
