Temp files in X4

Post by Filly »

I have read through other posts about autosave etc;
Today X4 crashed would you believe just about when I was at the end..
All the work was in the temp folder but I couldn't get them back
it came back as the specified file cannot be identified as a supported file..
even though I have formatted TMP files to open with X4..
How does one get them back..
I have made a new folder..with the full path in Temp files..
named it PSP version X4 Temp files
and have added it to File locations Undo\Temporary Files..
That folder now holds my most recent work..
What a nuisance in X2 after a crash all the temp files appear..
Why don't they in X4..
Cheers

AFAIK, Temp files are self destruct and are not retrievable if your program crashed.

Abiel this comes from the help and Corel's manual..
dit workspace

Manage workspace
1

Choose File Preferences Autosave Settings.

The Autosave Settings dialog box appears.
2

Mark the Enable autosave in the Adjust workspace check box.
Tip
To find out where Corel PaintShop Pro saves the autosaved files, choose File Preferences File Locations and select the Undo/Temporary Files folder from the File Type list.
