Hi,
I just got a digital camera with a version of Phote Ex 8 with it. I installed it and it becme my default picture viewer for email. I was having some problems so I tried to unistall it and start over. Well... now I cannot open any email pictures. If I try to re-install it says a version is already installed and it won't let me. if I go to add/remove and try to uninstall I get the same error. I tried going toUlead tech but I can't get anywhere because I cannot get far enough into the program to get my serial number. I know this is more of a PC tech question but can anyone help me out??

You could try editing the registry (start & run & regedit) Go to "edit" & "find" & look for all references to "Ulead", delete them all and restart the computer. Then re-install PhotoExplorer (that assumes the only Ulead product you've got is PhotoExplorer)
Alternatively, if you're running XP...
right-click a JPG file in Windows Explorer, & go to properties
At the "opens with..." bit, press "change" & select another program. Selecting "Imaging" should work

I am having the same problem with mine and when i tryed to get tech support i couldnt because i also didnt have my registration number.. Have you had any luck fixing it yet?

I had simmilar problem, this instructions works for me.
Be worn it involve playing with Windows registry!
