Burger Transitions in VSPX3

Post by SWATLEADER »

Hi there

I have another problem to bother you guys with. I just tried installing the burger transitions to VSPX3, i followed the instructions and moved them into the vfx plugin folder but when i open up the program it loads all the transitions but then gives me an error saying "Load From Stream Error" and when I go into the Burger trasitions and try to click on one of them they all dissappear, including all my other transitions, effects etc

When I restart VSPX3 everything comes back but I still get the same error even after I uninstall and delete the burger transitions so does anyone have any ideas. I really like some of the burger trransitions and i have seen on here that other peole have got them working for VSPX3 so I was hoping someone on here might know a solution or at least have some suggestions on what I could try to fix it

Thanks
Trevor Andrew

Hi

Re-installing Video Studio may not have refreshed all folders.
First try Resetting the library from Settings-Library Manager
You may wish to export the library first as a backup.
Does that make any difference?

Otherwise
For XP………..
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro

I assume a similar location for Windows 7

Re name the folder “13.0” to “13.0 copy”

Starting Video Studio will recreate a new folder, this should reset VS to its default state.

If that doesn’t work then I am at a bit of a loss as you have re-installed the program.
It may well be a Windows 7 issue v BurgerTransitions

No -- I have Burger working on both X3 and X4 on both my Windows 7 machines -- though they are 32 bit versions, and not 64 bit.

For windows 7, you can locate the folder here.... C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\13.0

That worked perfectly, I just re-named the file to 13.0 copy, started VSPX3 and the burger transitions are all working fine and i've got no errors. Thanks guys i really appreciate it.

I don't like a lot of the standard transitions that come with the program as they are very simple so its nice to have some variation, cheers again :D

Sorry forgot to mention the folders may be hidden, problem most likely a corrupt file in the library.
But good to hear you have them working

Hi wkutter
Just like the transitions/effects used via the libraries A/B icon

Burger Transitions are a free set of transitions about 24 in all?, also available is a filter called FX Bench.
Not sure if this is compatible with Windows 7, but Ken confirms that the transitions work ok.

Instructions as how to install from the Burger Transition Site

Free but donations welcome

Thank you, Trevor. I just downloaded the Burger Transitions from the site indicated. Because I do not have an older Ulead VS program on my computer anymore, the download ended up in the C:\ drive, in new folder named "Burger", with a subfolder "Burgers Transitions Pack". A window will pop up and let you know that a Ulead program could not befound. Disregard this message and complete the download process. Then I had to move the downloaded transitions to the folder "vfx_plug", which is in my Corel VS Pro X3 program folder. After this step I opened up the Corel VS Pro X3 program and the Burger Transitions are shown in the Transition Library.
