Problem sending command

Post by tyler4402 »

After years of using PP Pro7 I have installed PP Pro V10 (which I find confusing) to work with Windows7 Pro, and I have a problem, after modding a photo I save it in the Mod folder (same folder that I put the photo for modding in) but when I open the Mod folder there are only icons showing and not picture thumbnails, I have looked for "Show Thumbnails" in the menu but it's not there, likewise when I try to send the modded photo to another folder I get the massage "There was a problem sending the command to the program" does anybody know what I have done wrong?

You refer to the program as PP Pro which is not the usual designation for PaintShop Pro (PSP)... Can you confirm that you are indeed using PaintShop, or whether you are using Corel PhotoPaint Pro version. If it is the latter, then you are in the wrong forum. You would need to go to http://coreldraw.com/forums/

I'm sorry for any confusion but PP Pro V10 or PSP 10 is not compatible with Windows 7. You can visit http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... patibility, for the list of corel program that is compatible with Windows 7.

I suggest that you try PaintShop Pro X4 which is fully compatible with Windows 7, you can download the 30 day full working trial at http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloa ... YB30EN.exe .

Hi guys, thanks for the replies
Sorry Ken for the confusion it was a slip of the key finger or operator malfunction, I did of course mean Paint Shop Pro v10, and thanks Abiel for the explanation of why my program is probably not working, so it does look like I will have to try to find PSP X4. Regards Robert.
