I have dual monitors and would prefer if VSPX4 opened in the right monitor rather than the left, which is my default screen.
I may have asked this before and I apologise if I have; the old grey matter isn't the same any more. Can someone please tell me how I can move the whole open program to the other screen like I can with other software. VSPX4 seems to just want to stick in my left/default screen.
Thanks.

Thanks for being the only person who responded!!
I did find that someone else has asked the same question here, so probably this is why my post wasnt' answered.
Apparently, Corel in their wisdom failed to make provision for this. Not good at all.

Re: VSPX4 -
First off, I currently do not use VideoStudio Pro X4 but still use MediaStudio Pro. Many of the features of the discontinued MediaStudio product have been added to VideoStudio Pro.
Maybe these settings from Ulead Learning Centre can be applied to VideoStudio Pro.
Setting Playback Options for Optimal real-time preview
http://www.ulead.com/learning/msp/msp7_07_1.htm
Setting up MediaStudio Pro 7 display and performance
http://www.ulead.com/learning/msp/msp7_06_1.htm
Using the ATI Radeon display board with MediaStudio Pro 7
http://www.ulead.com/learning/msp/msp7_05_1.htm
WeetHet - Video - PC to TV - nVidia software settings
http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_pc2tv_nvidia.php
My workflow using desktop and TV, allows me to have MSP isolated on my monitor and using nVidia card TV-Out I can view MSP's Preview Window fullscreen on my TV. Scrubbing, overlays, applying filters, etc. can be viewed fullscreen on my connected TV for precise editing and color correctioning.
Hope this helps.
Robert

Re: VSPX4 -
Hi Robert
I'm actually talking about the software opening in a different screen to the default one. VSPX4 won't do that. Once opened it can't be moved like other software.
Certain panels can be moved, but not the programme.

Hi Maureen
Sorry you haven’t had the response you expected, guess its cos most don’t use duel monitors.
I have to admit that I have never worked with two, so didn’t know how I could help, but not to miss out I connected the PC to my TV screen.
I managed to get Video Studio X4 working on the second monitor by allocating it as primary monitor.
Well yes that’s gonna work, however all other programs will open there.
I guess that’s not what you need
You could of course physically move the monitors.
I did manage to drag the individual panels across, leaving only the main screen, and was able to re-arrange them in order allowing me to edit, just missing the top menu, but to be honest don’t need them too much when I am editing as most the editing elements are within the panels.
Yep I think Corel has to address this issue with Video Studio and dual monitors, especially when its available using other Corel programs

I would really like to see the next version take care of this. I would use that feature every time.I'm actually talking about the software opening in a different screen to the default one. VSPX4 won't do that. Once opened it can't be moved like other software.
