No Audio in Project! Please Help!

Ok i am having a veyr strange problem with corel video studio 4 where i am not getting any audio for my projects. when i preview as a clip, the audio works fine. when ipreviewa s a project, it is no sound. when i try to create a file with the muted porject, the file ends up having no audio. ive tried dozens of files that have always worked with corel video studio until now. it is all the same problem no matte ewhat file size or format i try. no audio in project. can anyone please help? i have a project due soon

There are many reason why this happens. Try updating the codecs and directx on your computer.

i downloaded all the oens that applied to me and it still did not fix the problem :/

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution? Copy and pasting a list of video players is not going to fix the problem. If we did not have the proper codecs then we would never hear audio. The audio works fine on my videos until I start editing them in videostudio!
