Proxi files
I have problems with single AVCHD files larger than 2GB in VSX3: screen gets black towards the end in project mode with timeline scrolling. Is there a file limit for proxi file creation? It's like the proxi file creation stops at 2Gb.

Hi erdna
Sorry for delay in replying, most users may use smaller files, maybe by now you have found a solution
I have just tried with a MTS at 3..4 Gb the proxy file took ages to create, produced a UPX file at 2.37Gb.
Don’t have any problems with playback or black frames.
Did you try changing the type of files that are created by the Proxy process?

Re: Proxi files
Thanks Trevor, for your reply. Indeed, in the mean time I found the cause of my problem, and like your say it takes ages...which I only found out a few days later. It's like there is a limit of file size from where VS start to gets paralyzed. I think it is related to the ram processing (and ram size) which changes to paging processing. The getting black issue was solved too, after the proxi creation was fully done. So all by all I should have been waiting much much longer until I got the proxi ready icon.
