Win 7 64 bit PSPX2 Ultimate (12.50)
If I open a new image Raster background (white) RGB-8bit/channel and put the size in inches centimetres or millimetres I get a black 1px line horizontal and vertical on the image. I either have to paint over it or open the image using pixels as the sizing.
Example: New image 1black spot saved.

I have only just found out how it occurs. It also is the same if I install PSP on Laptop (win7 64 bit)
I make animations and can use upto 50 images replicating from the 1st image so if I forget to paint out the lines on number 1 image (as I did last week) and then put them through an animator and then scream when I see the black lines on the finshed animation. At least I now know to always use pixels as the size of the images.
Of course now I know I will try and use pixels when opening a new image (but would sooner use the other measurements )
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem using X2 ultimate + win 7 64bit

I just created a new white raster image RGB - 8 bits/channel @ 2 x 2 inches.
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

Re: X2 Ultimate. Black lines on "new image"
Before posting the problem I opened scores of images and they only seemed to be ok using pixel sizing. Now it seems to be ok on my PC. The paw print as you can see (with the problem) is from my laptop which is still doing the same , ok only on pixels. The only thing in common is they both have win 7 64 bit.
As it now at the moment working ok on PC I will call it "intermitent problem"

The problem could be that PSP X2 Ult is not fully compatible with Win 7 64.
You can visit http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 4516325170, to know which version of the Corel Software is compatible with Windows 7.
There is a workaround for you to make old program works on Windows 7, however we cannot assure you this is a 100% fool proof. You can use the Windows 7 Program Compatibility and the Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC, which are both from Microsoft.
You can follow the steps for Windows 7 Program Compatibility from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... of-Windows
You can download and install the Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtua ... nload.aspx.
You also want to consider upgrading your Corel software, since the latest version of PaintShop Pro is full compatible with Windows 7, you can download the 30 day full working trial at http://www.corel.com/trials.

The problem could also be something else seeing as Kathy_9 and I also have Windows 7 64-bit and don't experience this problem.
