I really like pspx2 and would have liked to have kept going with the same line of software but I just can't get this version to work.

Strange how the video package from Corel works but PSP doesn't....

Anyhow, spent about 15 hours trying to get it working now, procmon reveals little, so I'm guessing it doesn't like my hardware/drivers somewhere but as they are all up to date it looks pointless continuing to diagnose.

Anyone know if I can get a refund? has anyone else successfully applied for a refund, if so, how did you do it?

Found the problem.....

If anyone else experiences this, try deleteing the following folder:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Corel

Loads everytime now.

I'm having this exact same problem. I started my own thread on it before finding this. The problem for me is that I don't have a folder as mentioned above, nothing even close!

I can't even load this program so am pulling my hair out at the moment. I've been on this all day and can't figure it out :(

Are you using WinXP? Folders names can be different when compared to Vista/7

For instance: Documents and settings\account name\Local config (or something like that\Corel

I'm using 7 Home Premium and don't have a folder even resembling the one mentioned.

I have tried the trick of creating a new admin user account and installing on that, which works fine but it still won't load when I switch back to my own account!

Any idea why anyone?

Keep in mind that you may need to enable "show hidden folders and files" and "show system files" under Control Panel -> Folder options.

I didn't think to do that. I could bloody well kiss you :D

It's all working fine now, I'm back in the X4 club (touch wood!)

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions in the various threads on this. I owe you all one.

Damn I love this place :D
