Have installed the recent X3 update however X3 still crashes when in the Smart Photo Fix dialog area with mouse wheel rolling the parameters up-down, and it takes all of the pics that are open with it. Also after restarting X3, it's window must be resized, as it then extends off the edge of the monitor. A real PITA. What are some things to avoid so this wont happend? Can I NOT use the mouse wheel to adjust params? The program shouldn't crash from operating it in this way. Sorry if this topics was missed previously.

Hi edwinn,
sorry to hear about your problem.
You may want to first update your directX http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35
If that did not work, then you will need to reinstall the program. You can follow http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... oto-Pro-X3
Then redownload all update on service pack at a time, starting from SP1 working your way up to SP5.

Re: PSPP X3 still crashing
Reinstall the program? hmm I just purchased X3 Ultimate in late May 2011 and received the boxed version. That must have been one of the last releases? What SP would it included, if any? There was ONE update after the inital install, found in "Check for Updates" and the current version in Help, About is: 13.2.1.32
Not sure how X3 could have gotten corrupted. Are you saying to reinstall from the CD/DVD and then install each SP from 1 to 5 in sequence?

That would be the only way I could think of that you would be certain that it's installing ALL service packs. The program may just look for the latest assuming that you've already installed other updates. Corel doesn't give much documentation on the subject, so assuming that the programmers are as daft with this as with other things is probably best.edwinn wrote: Not sure how X3 could have gotten corrupted.
