Error message when starting VideoStudio

Post by webcombo »

I am getting an error message that says, "vstudio.exe - Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry point ulcProductVersion could not be located in the dynamic link library u32Cfg.dll"
If anybody has a clue as to what this means, please help. I mistakenly went on to the Pinnacle board and when doing a search, there were similiar error messages from people installing over there.
I downloaded the trial version of VideoStudio 9 and it worked great. So I bought the cd version, uninstalled the download version, and reinstalled it using the cd. That is when it stopped working. Please help!!!
Thanks,
Rob

If you have Windows XP, uninstall the Ulead software. Go to the Start button and Run. Use msconfig. When in the utility, disable all the startup items and then reboot the computer. After the computer reboots, reinstall the Ulead program and see if you get the same errors.

Llama, I just want to thank you for your advice. I thought that maybe because I was installing the program on my second HD, that maybe that was the problem. But I uninstalled the program, rebooted, used EndItAll to close all open programs, and then reinstalled. It works just fine now. Thanks for your help!!
