Codec question.

If I convert an MPEG movie clip using the Xvid codec then Windows Media Player plays it perfectly, however, if VS renders the same clip with Xvid, then WMP won't play it, just shows a black screen with no audio. VideoLAN plays it okay, though. Why is this? No problem with VS using the DivX codec.

Yes, it appears that this is a codec issue.

Here are some of the codecs that you may want to install.
