Hi there,
As a newbie hopping to put video with my still images I started out by making a DVD of a video of a boat followed by the same boat after Mercali processing. Video were fine and Mercali worked as it says. However I need help. How do you get a plain DVD without one of the fancy backgrounds that the program makes you chose to start the DVD which need titles and without horrible music that came from nowhere? I cannot find how to make a video with nothing at the start that goes straight into the video you have made. All I want is how to make a DVD of my videos (I can put the title on top of the video at the start) that you put into a DVD player that self starts or at worst needs you to press play on the remote control. Any offers would be very gratefully received.
Cheers, Derek

If you are using VS X4, then just remove the check mark on the CREATE MENU option that you will see on the first screen after selecting CREATE DISC > DVD.
For older version of VideoStudio, you may want to look for similar settings.

Re: DVD without backgrounds, titles and music
Hi there, Sorry did not get back sooner, but had problems with Windows 7 losing files for me! But back to VS X4. I put in a video file(s). Then hit create video file and get drop down menu and select DVD Video (16x9) and all it wants to do is to save the file. I cannot find any check box or have I to go further to find the box that will get me out of fancy backgrounds, etc. Thanks for suggestions, but further kiund help still required. Cheers, Derek

Re: DVD without backgrounds, titles and music
Sorry folks. As a newbie I mistakenly mixed up Create video file and Disk. Doing the Disk I found the ckeckbox. So grateful thanks for putting me on the right track. Cheers, Derek
