While a few of those options are not available a lot of the process can be duplicated.
For example, duplicate the wood image to create the pattern. In the vector properties set the fill to Pattern and pick the duplicated version to create the Pattern Overlay.
You can also use bevel and inner glow (with far far fewer settings) inside PSPX2 and newer.
With older versions the typical method was to create a selection from a vector and use the "Cutout" effect.
