stinky - not sure why it does this. Here's a screen shot of what my X4 looks like right after launching it. It's exactly the way I set it up. With that being said, I do notice that every once in a while my large background/foreground color swatches will slip below the color picker palette within the materials palette. I haven't paid attention to what, if anything specific, triggers this. I just shove it back where I want it without even thinking about it. It's kind of like when your socks slide down - you automatically pull them back up because it's annoying. Yes, it would be nice if things stayed where we put them.stinky666 wrote:Ok so, it does keep my theme/workspace for the most part, but the palettes do not remain where I have positioned them, to the right side. So no matter what, I have to either load my workspace, or push the layers up.

Hmmm (again)! All I can say is that mine *still* opens and reopens just the way I arranged and saved it. No slippage of anything either...

I've found that because x4 remembers the last settings, you need to be very sure of what you have when you shut PSPx4 down. Even though I'm aware of this evey so often I get a 'strange' start up. Palettes will resize themselves. Often taking up the whole work space. It's annoying but no big deal for me. A quick shove and they go back where they belong.
