Opening .JPG File in Paintshop Photo 2010

I have been a long time user of Corel Photo Album 6 .. I am now trying out Corel Painshop Photo 2010. If I double click on a saved .jpg file it opens the Corel software, but the file I want to see isn't on the screen. Is there a setting I am missing OR is this a flawed piece of software???

My apologies for the extreme delay in getting a response. I'm not able to be here as much as I used to be now.

Can you open the jpeg image in another viewer or program? If not the image may be corrupt. I will also add that any of the 2010 products are, well lets say less than desirable.
