Hi
I assume you are burning a standard DVD not a HD DVD.
You need to convert the project to a MPEG 2 video file, this is the type of file used to burn a DVD
Share Create Video File – DVD select one of the options.
If you were to give details of the projects content, the video files properties and the length of the project then we may be able to give further details. There is little for us to go on.
Your Youtube link does not work, if you are intending to use youtube to describe your video problems then you should leave the link open, effectively for ever. Then the post will make sense in years to come.
Maybe best just to fully describe the problem on the post.

Re: video studio crash when creat dvd
In the past I had no problem I would get the original file M2TS HD file and then edit it and take it to burn a standard DVD and it does not do me problems, I did it without converting the file to MPEG2 but thanks anyway

Re: video studio crash when creat dvd
Hi
If you are burning a Standard DVD then you will be burning MPEG2 files to the disc.
This is either created by you by Share Create Video File DVD, or it will be created/converted automatically during the burning process, either way Mpeg2 files are burned to disc.
You can see the process after hitting the Burn button, the progress bar showing Convert Title. This the time when your project is converted to Mpeg2.
View the options cogwheel for the actual convert settings used.
Sometimes converting/ rendering during the burning process has caused problems and the recommendation to create a video file first should be used.
Note……
M2TS files are basically MPEG types and easily convert to standard MPEG2.
There may be some issues trying to convert MP4 to Mpeg2
So you are recommended to convert the video files first.
Maybe giving us some property details of the Mp4 would help us to decide on appropriate MPEG2 settings?
