Clickable links?

Post by wezcorel »

New Pro 4X user here (only started using 6 days ago!). Love the software.

I have two questions. I checked the knowledge-base, youtube and searched this forum for answers.

Q1. Is it possible to embed clickable links in a video?

Q2. Is it possible to change the background colour of the pre-set Titles (the black background)? If so, how?

Thanks, Wez.

Hi Wez

And welcome to the forums

No you cannot create links within the video.

The title background will be black when viewing from the library, once inserted to the timeline the video placed above will become the background, (drag the title to the timeline)

However you can change the background colour of the preview window, is useful to identify the actual frame area.
Go to (F6) Settings Preferences-General tab—background colour.

Also change Clip Display Mode to Thumbnail only, will show the timeline video frames in full.

Then check out the default settings on the edit tab

thanks for your answers Trevor.

About the black titles: the idea was to use one as an opening scene, so if I don't want the video to be the backdrop but instead have just text on a plain colour (e.g. changing black to pink for example) is that possible?

Yes - in that case you just drag a colour block down from the 'color library' and insert that in the video track and set it's length to your requirements.

You can also use a photograph or image such as a logo or pattern you like.
