My reply from Corel support won't mention his name..
Told me to go and download X4 again and see if it fixes the opacity layer problem in previous thread..
Silly me did it the 333MBS download again..this time came no icons...
couldn't even find them in the folder...
Made no difference to the opacity layer..
So I had to do a system restore ..
I am convinced they know nothing!!!!

Thanks Abiel have done this is my problem with the opacity slider
have tried it with the right pane ticked it is a bit better..Cheers
