psp x2
I was working on a background color. When I finished I thought everything would be fine. Except I went to manipulate another image and both of my preview windows has gone black. I have gone back and tried to repeat my steps but both of my previews still are black. No matter what I've tried I can't get them to go back to normal. Anything anyone can suggest would really be great. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Could you explain a little more about what exactly you were doing? You said you were "working on a background color" - working on it how? You also mentioned your two preview windows - preview windows for what tool? This will help us replicate what you are seeing and try to come up with an answer.

This can be a problem with the workspace and you can reset your work space to fix this. You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.

Re: psp x2
Thank you soo much. That worked. I've been trying for a long time to fix those windows. To the earlier post I was working on an adjustment, utilizing color balance. Thank you for your advice I have two books but I never found the re set to default.
